United Way of Blount County's "CAN"paign Before the Campaign
Join us in fighting hunger in Blount County by participating in our Rotary Food Drive.
-
This year, food pantries in Blount County have seen triple the number of people per day needing food. Some pantries are reporting as much of a 100% increase in families served in the last year . . . with six months of the year to go.
Just follow these simple steps:
-
Check out the list of needed (and not needed) items below.
-
Bring canned and boxed goods at every opportunity starting August 5 and ending August 19. We will collect at meetings or you can arrange a pick up or drop off. (Contact Tesa Brown or Ron Appuhn)
-
Sign up to assist with Food Delivery the week of August 19th. The United Way will let us know which Blount County Food Pantry to deliver to.
