The
Rotary Club of Maryville, Tennessee Attendance How and Where to Makeup meetings | |
To
remain in good standing members, except honorary members and other
members excused by the board of directors, must attend at least 50
percent of the regular meetings. Missed meetings can be made-up within
14 days before or after the meeting. There are many opportunities to
make-up missed meetings and one of the benefits of Rotary
membership is making-up at other clubs. Members are welcome at and
encouraged to visit other clubs world-wide. Click
here to find clubs world-wide or click
here for a listing of clubs in District 6780. When a member cannot visit another club to make-up a missed meeting there are other options. These include attending a regular meeting of a local Rotaract or Interact club, Rotary Community Corps, or Rotary Fellowship. A convenient way of making-up is through a visit to a Rotary e-club Web site and participating in an on-line activity. Here is a listing of Rotary E-Clubs. You may also want to read E-clubs forge new path for Rotary, a Web-exclusive feature story about Rotary e-clubs and their members. After making-up you may (1) send your on-line make-up card to Dana West, the Club Secretary, by e-mail, (2) hand-carry your make-up card to her at a meeting, or (3) send the card by the USPS to her at Secretary, The Rotary Club of Maryville, P. O. Box 4726, Maryville, Tennessee 37802. Be sure to send makeup cards in a timely manner. © 2007 (last revised Saturday, September 1, 2007) this site is maintained Gordon Irwin.
